Rotarys vedtekter

Oppdaterte vedtekter på norsk kommer i løpet av høsten. Det kom nye etter lovrådet 2016.

Artikkel 7 Unntak, bestemmelser om møter og oppmøte

En klubb må møtes minst to ganger per måned.

Artikkel 8. Møter

Seksjon 1

(a)

Klubben skal holde møte hver uke. Deltakelse kan skje ved ”online connection” dersom medlemmet på annen måte er forhindret i å møte.

 

(c)

Kansellering. Styret kan avlyse et ordinært møte hvis det faller på en offentlig høytidsdag inkludert en dag som vanligvis oppfattes som høytidsdag eller i en uke som inkluderer en slik høytidsdag  eller i tilfelle av død av et klubbmedlem, eller av en epidemi eller en katastrofe som rammer hele området, eller en væpnet konflikt i samfunnet som truer livene til klubbens medlemmer.

Styret kan ikke avlyse mer enn fire faste møter i året utover dette.

Del 3 - styremøter. Skriftlige referat bør være tilgjengelig for alle styremøter. Slike referater bør være tilgjengelig for alle medlemmer innen 60 dager etter møtet.

Seksjon 1

Generelle kvalifikasjoner.

Klubben skal være sammensatt av voksne personer som viser god karakter, integritet og lederskap; har godt omdømme innenfor sin virksomhet, yrke, og / eller samfunnet; og er villig til å tjene i sitt samfunn og / eller verden rundt.

 

Seksjon 2

Enhver klubb skal ha to typer medlemmer; aktive og honorære.

 

Artikkel 11 Klassifisering

Del 1 - Alminnelige bestemmelser.
(A) hovedvirksomhet. Hvert medlem skal klassifiseres i henhold til medlem virksomhet, yrke eller type samfunnstjeneste. Klassifiseringen skal være det som beskriver hovedvirksomheten i firmaet, selskapet eller institusjon som vedkommende er tilknyttet til.

(B) Korreksjon eller justering.

 

 Dersom forholdene tilsier det, kan styret korrigere eller justere klassifiseringen av et medlem. Melding om en foreslått rettelse eller justering skal gis til medlem og medlemmet skal gi sitt syn på dette..

Del 2 - Begrensninger. Klubben skal ikke velge en person til aktivt medlemskap fra en klassifikasjon hvis klubben allerede har fem eller flere medlemmer fra at klassifiseringen, med mindre klubben har mer enn 50 medlemmer, og i så fall kan klubben velge en person som aktivt medlem i en klassifisering så lenge det ikke vil føre til klassifiseringen som utgjør mer enn 10 prosent av klubbens aktive medlemskap.

Medlemmer som er pensjonert skal ikke inngå i det totale antallet medlemmer i en klassifikasjon.

Article 11 Classifications Section 1 — General Provisions. (a) Principal Activity. Each member shall be classified in accordance with the member’s business, profession, or type of community service. The classification of a transferring or former member of a club, or a Rotaractor or Rotary alumnus as defined by the board of directors of RI, shall not preclude election to active membership even if the election results in club membership temporarily exceeding the above limitations. If a member changes classification, the club may continue the member’s membership under the new classification notwithstanding these limitations.

Section 3 – Lovlig fravær.

Et medlems fravær aksepteres som lovlig fravær
(A)                                                                                                                                               i samsvar med vilkårene og under omstendigheter som er godkjent av styret. Styret kan akseptere et medlems fravær av grunner som den anser for å være god og tilstrekkelig. Slike fravær skal ikke strekke seg lenger enn tolv måneder. Men hvis permisjonen er av en medisinsk grunn eller etter fødsel, adopsjon eller fosterhjem av et barn som strekker seg mer enn tolv måneder kan den fornyes av styret for en periode utover de opprinnelige tolv måneder.
(B)                                                                                                                                                når summen av medlemmets alder og år med medlemskap i en eller flere klubber er 85 år eller mer,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   når medlemmet har vært medlem av en eller flere klubber i minst 20 år, og medlemmet har meddelt klubben sekretær skriftlig av medlemmets ønske om å bli fritatt fra oppmøte og styret har godkjent dette.

§ 5 - Møteprotokoller.

Når et medlem er fritatt etter bestemmelsen i punkt 3 (A) teller det ikke med i fremmøtestatistikken.

I tilfelle av at et medlem som er fritatt for møteplikten etter reglene i punkt 3 (b) deltar et klubbmøte, skal medlemmets deltakelse inngå i møtestatistikken og frammøte tall som brukes til å beregne denne klubbens møteprosent.

Artikkel 15 varighet Medlemskap

§ 4 - Opphør Non-deltakelse. [

(A)  Fremmøte prosenter. Et medlem må
(1) delta i minst 50 prosent av klubbens faste møter.
(2) delta på minst 30 prosent av klubbens faste møter og delta i klubbprosjekter, andre arrangementer og aktiviteter med minst 12 timer i hver halvdel av året (assisterende guvernører, som definert av styret i RI, skal være fritatt fra dette kravet).

(B)    Hvis et medlem ikke innfrir dette, kan medlemskapet bli avsluttet med mindre styret har samtykket..
(B) Sammenhengende fravær.

Med mindre styret har samtykket i fraværet skal styre etter et medlems fravær i fire påfølgende uker gjøre medlemmet oppmerksom på at styret vil vurdere å kansellere medlemskapet.
